  Ingredients of Puris:
 

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup all purpose flour [maida]
Oil for frying and kneading the dough
Water as per requriment
Salt 2 pinch

 

 

  Method:
 
  • Seive the whole wheat flour & all purpose flour together add salt to it.
  • Add 2tbsp of oil to the flour.
  • Knead the dough with required amount of water. the dough should not be over soft.
  • Keep the dough aside to rest for 10 mins.
  • Knead the dough well using oil till surface becomes smooth.
  • Make small balls of dough.
  • Roll the balls into puris with the help of rolling pin.
  • Keep aside the puris about 5mint before frying, so that it gets fried easily and  doesn't stick to the pan.
  • Now take oil in pan to fry the puri heat the oil.Check by putting small dough piece if oil is hot enough. Once the oil is ready carefully place the puri in hot oil.
  • Let the puris gets fry for 5-10 seconds ,press the puri on top using a frying spoon so that it puffs up.
  • Flip the puri on other side.

  Ingredients of Custard Apple Juice (ras): (For 3 persons)
 

Custard Apples 2-3 medium sized
Milk (as per consistency needed)
Elaichi powder (Cardamom) for garnishing ¼ tbsp
Pure Ghee 1 tbsp
Sugar (as per taste if needed)

 

 

  Method:
 
  • Take out the pulp of Custard Apple from its shell with the help of a spoon and soak it in milk for about 1 hour.
  • Now take a special vessel as shown in the video. Place a big plate below the special vessel; (for separating the seeds from the pulp). Now empty the pulp of the Custard Apple in a special vessel and then rub it with the hand as shown in the video. You can see that the seeds are getting separated from the pulp.
  • Now take the pulp (without the seeds) in a bowl and add milk according to your consistency required.
  • Now heat up 1 tbsp Pure ghee on a low flame. Allow it to heat properly and then immediately pour it into the pulp of Custard Apple.
  • If you want you can add the Sugar to the Pulp.
  • Now sprinkle Elaichi (Cardamom) powder on it and enjoy eating with puri or chapatti.
