Rasoolullaah (saws) has said that ‘Utlobul ‘ilma minal mahde alal lahde’ which means, Acquire knowledge from the Cradle to the Grave. Acquisition of knowledge is a continuous process which has no end but Death and it is the cause of ascension of our Soul after death. Fountainhead of all the knowledge of this World is Qur’an. Nabi, Wasi, Imaam or Da’i are the representatives (Hujjat) of Allaah in their respective times who are the real teachers and preachers of the Qur’an. Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) says in his taqreer that, We are the ones on whom Allaah has bestowed the legacy of knowledge of Ahl ul-Bayt (as) and A’immat-e-Taahereen (as). Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) in his every speech encourages the youth and the shabaab of jamaa’at to spend the sizeable time in acquiring knowledge and gaining proper education. Our Maulaa asserts that, Education is the foundation of the progress of a community. Victorious are the ones in this World and in the Hereafter who are knowledgeable.  There is a stark distinction between the ignorant and learned.

Every year on an average 75 students appear for the SSC and HSC examinations. It is our wish that they should get proper guidance in selecting particular discipline so that they can carve out their career fruitfully. Some enthusiastic and dedicated students and professionals took up the responsibility of organizing a Career Guidance Program this year. They assembled under the banner of Royal Youth Forum and came up with a unique idea of allowing the students to have personal interaction with the respective faculty of their field. Career Guidance Seminars was organized several times in the past where a faculty would come and give a lecture of his field to all the participants. There was no personal interaction of students. Members of Royal Youth Forum insisted that personal discussion of student with the faculty is very important because lecture itself is not helpful in the guidance. They approached Mazoon ud-Da’wat with this innovative idea and were encouraged to materialise on their plans.

Career Guidance Gathering took place on 7th Jumaad il-Aakhar 1430 AH – 31st May 2009, Sunday at Shams Hall in Badri Mohalla in the morning between 0900 to 1200 hrs. The arrangement made for the students was very systematic and methodical. A separate place was dedicated for every discipline. Students filled up the form and accordingly interacted personally with the faculty of the discipline they opted for. Mazoon ud-Da’wat (dm) and Raas ul-Hudood Saheb (dm) visited the gathering and praised the members of Royal Youth Forum for their efforts. In the span of 3 hours, 80 students participated in the event and took guidance. Local Media channels also took the note of the event. May Allaah Ta’aala bless them with more strength and dedication to work for the cause of education and awareness.  Aameen.
