Milaad (birthday), Nikaah and Iftetaah (inauguration)
3rd Rabi’ ul-Aakhar 1432, Tuesday:
On the memorable occasion of three celebrations, Badri Mohalla was decorated with the colourful hanging sheets of paper. Informative banners and hoardings displaying the historical facts, recitation of the abyaat of Milaad, message of Mubaarak baadi and the identity of our Alavi Bohra community were displayed at Badri Mohalla-Nooraani Masjid and Ajwa Road-Taiyebi Masjid, where majority of our mumineen are settled. Both the Alavi Masaajid were decorated commemorating the 908th Milaad of 21st Faatemi Imaam Maulaana Taiyeb (as) and 81st Milaad of Huzoor-e-‘Aali Saiyedna Abu Haatim Taiyeb Ziyauddin Saheb (tus).
Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) along with the Risaalah of Hudood-e-Keraam and mumineen started his Sawaari from the Devdi Mubaarak at around 1715 hrs for the ceremony of Nikaah of Mazoon Saheb (dm)’s daughter Maymanahbu sahebah in Masjid-e-Nooraani. Mumineen displayed the flags of Milaad Mubaarak and enchanted the slogans of “Milaad Mubaarak” and “Aaj Maulid hai Taiyeb Ziyaa ka”. At the entrance of Masjid-e-Noorani, Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) halted for a while to cut the cake arranged by Anjuman-e-Haatemi.
Majlis of Nikaah started with the recitation of Qur’an-e-Kareem by Mukaasir Saheb (dz). Hudood of Da’wat recited the Bayt of Milaad which was followed by the exclusive Ash’aar presented by the Zaakereen. Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) recited the distinguished Khutbah of Nikaah of Mazoon Saheb (dz)’s daughter with Finhasali Mulla Husainali Chinwala. All the mumineen present in the Masjid embraced the completion of Khutbah with Mubaarak Baadi and Tehniyat.
Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) in his bayaan said that,
“It is the blessing of Allaah Ta’aala and Imaam uz-Zamaan (as) that he has shown me the Nikaah of my grand-daughter at this ripe age. Today is a historical day of 908th Milaad of Imaam Taiyeb (as) who is our Maulaa and Rabb and with whose Walaayat and Imaan, Allaah has enlightened our hearts. Milaad of Imaam uz-Zamaan (as) is the Milaad of all mumineen. His Milaad is the Milaad of the whole community. For those who are present in this Majlis and listening to the Bayaan, Imaam uz-Zamaan (as) will bear witness to your Walaayat and Mohabbat. It is the Ne’mat of Allaah Ta’aala that he has conglomerated my Milaad with the Milaad of Imaam Taiyeb (as).”
Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) then gave Mubaarak baadi to Mazoon Saheb (dz) and said that, “I pray to Allaah that till the end of my life He gives me strength to do the Khidmat of Da’wat and mumineen.” With the Du’a for mumineen and jamaa’at, Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) concluded his bayaan after which mumineen did the Qadambosi and gave Tehniyat to Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus). The event was concluded with the dinner for all mumineen and mumenaat in the jamaa’at khana.
4th Rabi’ ul-Aakhar 1432, Wednesday:
On the day of 908th Milaad of Imaam Taiyeb (as) and 81st Milaad of Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus), the celebration began with the Iftetaah (opening) of the new Devdi Mubaarak, “Al-Mishkaat” at Ajwa Road. Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) reached the Devdi Mubaarak at around 0915 hrs and did the Iftetaah of Al-Mishkaat in the presence of Hudood and mumineen. Seated in the main hall of Al-Mishkaat, Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) in his short bayaan said that,
“Allaah Ta’aala has blessed us with three Markaz (centre) or Devdi Mubaarak – Daar us-Salaam in the west (Vasna road), Daar ul-Muttaqeen in the city (Badri Mohalla) and Al-Mishkaat in the east (Ajwa road).”
Elucidating the meaning of “Mishkaat”, he said that this Devdi will serve the mumineen of Ajwa Road like a lantern of guidance. Whenever I will stay here, all the religious ceremonies of the mumineen will be done here in my presence. Mumineen can come here to meet me for their personal or religious matters.
Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) did the felicitation of the proprietors of Space Age Architects whose selfless Khidmat have resulted in the making of beautiful and artistic Al-Mishkaat. Also, the mumineen who have worked in the making of Al-Mishkaat were felicitated with the Certificate of Appreciation. The Majlis of Iftetaah concluded with the Zikr-e-Imaam Husain (as).
All the mumineen who gathered around Al-Mishkaat formed a procession and Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) ascended on the Maukib Mubaarak-Baggi near Al-Mishkaat. The Nooraani Juloos with Faatemi Shaanaat passed through the main roads of the Bahar Colony dotted with the houses of mumineen who did the Istiqbaal of Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) and gave Mubaarak baadi and Tehniyat. Milaad procession of students of Madrasa-e-Taiyebi which began early in the morning from Masjid-e-Taiyebi merged with the Sawaari of Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus).
Procession then entered on the main road of Taiyebi Park and passed through the inner streets. All the mumineen did the Istiqbaal near their houses. Anjuman-e-Faatemi erected a stage at one of the entrance of a street near Taiyebi Park where mumineen from Sakina Apartments, Ali Chamber and other places gathered to do a collective Istiqbaal. Anjuman-e-Faatemi had arranged for a cake which was distributed to the mumineen. Benevolent mumineen and various anjuman arranged Sharbat for the mumineen in the path of procession. The procession concluded at Taiyebi Masjid at around 1245 hrs.
Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) advanced into Taiyebi Hall where 81 kg cake of Milaad Mubaarak was decorated. Hudood recited the bayt of “Ziyauddin ni da'wat na Noor ne har dam...” in the hall after which the 81 kg cake was cut. Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) felicitated selected mumineen for their distinguished academic and professional excellence in the field of commerce, railways, medicine and accountancy.
Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) in his taqreer said that,
“I am delighted to see the crowd of mumineen who have come to celebrate the Milaad of Imaam Taiyeb (as). He emphasised that mumineen who did my Istiqbaal with flowers, garlands, bouquets, sharbat, milk, sweets etc have indeed done the Ikraam and Istiqbaal of Imaam uz-Zamaan (as). May Allaah Ta’aala and Imaam uz-Zamaan (as) give Barakaat (abundance) and Sehhat (health) to all those who have done the Khidmat in the celebration of the Milaad. Da’wat-e-Hadiyah have done such celebration in the Badri Mohalla but looking at the interest, zeal and aqeedat-mandi of mumineen of Ajwa road, I feel that mumineen here must witness celebration of this magnitude every year.”
The majlis concluded with the lunch of mumineen and mumenaat. This was the first instance where the whole community feast (ziyaafat-e-waleemah and wakeerah) was divided into two parts. For the mumineen staying in the city area, feast was arranged on 3rd Rabi’ ul-Aakhar and for those staying on Ajwa road and surrounding places, feast was arranged on 4th Rabi’ ul-Aakhar.
