Waalid ul-Jamee' Huzoor-e-'Aali Saiyedna Taiyeb Ziyauddin saheb (tus)

Imaam Ja’far us-Saadiq (as) has said that, “Inna lillaahil bada’a wal mashee’ata fi kulle shay’in illa fil imaamate” which means, ‘There is an intention to make changes in everything for Allaah but not in Imaamat.’ This saying is in the pretext of the fact that Imaamat will continue in the progeny of Maulaana Ali (as) but Imaamat will not exist between two brothers after Imaam Hasan (as) and Imaam Husain (as). Imaam Aamir (as), 20th Faatemi Imaam, was present on the throne of Imaamat in the year 520 AH. His selected and nearest companions (Ashaab) were Ibn-e-Madyan, Raslaan, Azeezi, Naslaan and Qoonus in whose presence Imaam Aamir (as) foretold about some facts which they did not understand. Imaam Aamir (as) called upon his Baab ul-Abwaab (deputy), Ibn-e-Madyan and instructed him to explain other Ashaab about what he meant to them. Ibn-e-Madyan explained them that Imaam (as) has forewarned about the concealment of the Imaamat in the near future. He also clarified that the cause of concealment will be his martyrdom.

Imaam (as) is the Hujjat (representative) of Allaah in this World. He continues to guide the people either publicly or in concealment through the succession of Du’aat ul-Akrameen (aq). The succession of Imaamat will continue from father to son till the Day of Qayaamat. Existence of Imaamat is the cause of the existence of this World.

Imaam (as) is the guardian and protector of the Deen of Allaah. Hence at the time of his death, he pronounces or appoints his successor in whom he sees the Noor of Imaamat because only an Imaam (as) can see the characteristics of Imaamat in one of his son who will become Imaam (as) after him.

Imaam Aamir (as) was martyred in 526 AH but before this in the year 524 AH, Imaam Taiyeb (as) was born to him on 4th Rabi ul-Aakhar in Misr (Egypt). Imaam Aamir (as) sent the message of Mubaarak-baadi and compliments to all the Du’aat ul-Akrameen (aq) in the surrounding provinces majorly inhabited by mumineen. He declared his son Taiyeb as his successor and the 21st Faatemi Imaam after him and sent the divine message to everyone. The Du’aat ul-Balaagh (aq) who were appointed in various provinces took the Misaaq of the Mumineen for the Imaamat of Imaam Taiyeb (as).

Imaam Taiyeb (as) along with his selected Ashaab went into concealment in the year 528 AH in Egypt. Maulaatona Hurrat ul-Malekah (aq) strengthened the foundation of Faatemi Da’wat in Yaman under the guidance of Imaam Taiyeb (as) who sent the details about his whereabouts in the form of letters or messages. It became a custom, an important event and landmark occasion to celebrate the Birthday of Imaam Taiyeb (as) on 4th Rabi ul-Aakhar every year which was carried over from time to time and is still celebrated with much veneration and zeal – wherever the Da’wat of Imaam uz-Zamaan (as) exists.

It is an auspicious coincidence that the name of Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) is same as the name of 21st Faatemi Imaam Taiyeb (as). Adding more graciousness is the fact that, The Milaad (birthday) of Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) falls on the same day of the Milaad of Imaam Taiyeb (as). It is promising and fortunate opportunity for the Alavi Mumineen of Mumbai that Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) has accepted their invitation and Insha Allaah the celebration of Milaad Mubaarak of Imaam Taiyeb (as) and Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) will be held in Mumbai this year. It is the 79th Milaad Mubaarak of Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) who will bestow his blessings on mumineen after a long span of 5 years in Mumbai.

This Milaad Mubaarak is the celebration of every mumineen because it is the Milaad of Imaam Taiyeb (as) and Naa’ib-e-Imaam uz-Zamaan (as) both on the same day. It is the Milaad of the spiritual father of the mumineen who came to this world for our guidance and Najaat. Imaam Taiyeb (as) who went into concealment (Istetaar) is the Imaam whose period proved a juncture between zuhoor (period of manifestation) and satr (period of seclusion).

Ignorance is darkness. The World is glowing under the light of Sun in the day and under the Moonlight in the night. The Sun and the Moon are the cause of the sustenance of Mankind. Day and Night forms the base of Life. Day, for us was the time when Imaam (as) was Zaahir among the mumineen till 528 AH. It was the Day when the Sun of Imaamat was shining bright. Night fell on us after 528 AH when Imaam Taiyeb (as) went into concealment and left behind the Moon of Da’i ul-Mutlaq among us who guides us to right path in the darkness of Night. Existence of the Moon proves the Existence of the Sun. Hence the succession of Du’aat ul-Akrameen (aq) proves the succession of Imaamat in the concealment. Verily, there is a Day after every Night, when Imaam (as) will again become evident on us. People who don’t have faith in Imaam uz-Zamaan (as), is aware of the light of sun or moon which they feel through their outer senses but the faithful person feels the divine light of the devotion towards Imaam uz-Zamaan (as) through his inner self which is illuminated by the Sun of Guidance i.e. Imaam and Da’i.  We pray to Allaah to bestow His choicest of favours to give us an opportunity to have Deedaar (sight) of Imaam uz-Zamaan (as) in this Life.

Allaah Ta’aala says in the Qur’an, “Allaaho noorus-samaawaate wal arz” which means, ‘Allaah is the Noor of Skies and Earth.’ This Noor is the Walaayat (love) of Panjatan Paak (as) and its progeny. We being born among the lovers of Panjatan Paak (as) and its progeny is the Ne’mat-e-Uzmaa (A Supreme Favour or Bounty) of Allaah Ta’aala Who says that when the Imaam (as) will take their mumineen in the Jannat, they will say, ‘O our Lord, complete our Noor for us and pardon us for our sins, You have the power over everything.’ The completion of the Noor is to enter in the company of Imaam (as) and getting pardoned is to enter in the Jannat.

The Milaad Mubaarak of Imaam Taiyeb (as) reminds us about the Noor of Imaamat of Allaah and invites us to their Walaayat. The status of Imaamat reflects the signs of Allaah in this World and following it, indeed, will lead us to our final destiny – Jannat. All the mumineen, on this occasion of twin Milaad Mubaarak, gives hearty compliments and Mubaarak-baadi to Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus). We also express the same gratitude that by giving Mubaarak-baadi to him is as good as giving compliments in the way of Imaam uz-Zamaan (as). May Allaah endure the shadow of benevolence and kindness of Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus) on us.  Aameen.
