Mazoon Saheb (DM) addressed mumineen on the eve of 269th ‘Urs of 34th Da'i-e-Mutlaq Saiyedna Shehaabuddin Saheb (QR) in Jannat ul-Mumineen. Usually on the eve of almost every ‘Urs, our mumineen gets the honour to listen to the speech of Mazoon Saheb (QR) in which he explores the depths of knowledge regarding haqeeqat, fiqh and akhbaar.
From the historical view, Mazoon Saheb (DM) highlighted the close and intimate relation of the kith and kin of Muqaddas Maula (QR) with the Da'wat-e-Shareefah. The commitment to serve the Da'wat was deeply ingrained in his heart and he was very fervent and devoted in this aspect. 32nd Da'i-e-Mutlaq Saiyedna Ziyauddin Jivabhai bin Nuhji (QR) was the brother of Muqaddas Maula (QR). His father Saiyedi Nuhji Saheb and grand father Saiyedi Mohammadji saheb were very close to Da'wat and they got the privilege to do the khidmat of the 29th Da'i-e-Mutlaq Shaheed-e-Aazam Saiyedna ‘Ali Shamsuddin (QR) and Saiyedna Badruddin Hasan bin Wali (QR). The grand father of Muqaddas Maula (QR) was among the 27 loyal and faithful mumineen who accepted the Da'wat of Saiyedna ‘Ali bin Ibraaheem Shaheed (QR).
33rd Da'i-e-Mutlaq Saiyedna Moaiyaduddin Saheb (QR) appointed his paternal uncle Saiyedna Shehaabuddin Saheb (QR) in the month of Rajab ul-Murajjab 1151 AH as the next Da'i-e-Mutlaq after his death because his son Saiyedna Hameeduddin Saheb was very young. Saiyedna Moaiyaduddin Saheb (QR) instructed Saiyeda Shehaabuddin Saheb (QR) to return the honour of Da'wat in the Aal of Saiyedi Nuhji saheb i.e. to his son Saiyedna Hameeduddin Saheb if he perceives in him the capabilities and liyaaqat-o-sharaafat of being a Da'i after his death. The Devdi Mubaarak (the centre of Da'wat) was in Laadwada at the time of Saiyedna Shehaabuddin Saheb (QR). The building still exists at the same place. Also there was a mosque in the same area which was gradually taken over by the other community which still reflects the grandeur and glory of the jalaal of our beloved Maula.
Saiyedna Shehaabuddin Saheb (QR) remained as the Da'i-e-Mutlaq for 7 years. He took care of this divine status of Imaam uz-Zamaan (AS) promulgated the Da'wat of Allah and guided the mumineen to the path of faith and truth.
Mazoon Saheb said that, there are three categories of mumineen in this majlis of Behram of Muqaddas Maula (QR). Firstly, those who have come thinking that, “I should go because all are going.” Secondly, those who have come thinking that, “I should go because I have time.” Thirdly, those few of them who thinks that, “It's a spiritual and social obligation that I should go and express my faith and devotion for the Muqaddas Maula who is responsible for my existence and identity.” The mumineen of the third category are the one who deserve the highest rewards because they have exhibited the real faith and love for the Muqaddas Maula (QR). All others have just come for the sake of presence and truly, all such actions are useless.
To unfold the secrets of the truth, Mazoon Saheb described a parable and said, ‘There was a learned man who used to live in a village. Once in a while, he intended to test the intelligence of the people. He selected four cross roads of the village and placed four different things on each one; white marbles on the first cross road, round white stones on the second, unpolished diamonds on the third and red shining sapphire on the fourth one. In his first attempt when he made animals to pass through the cross roads, they kicked all the things which came on their way. Then he sent ordinary people to pass through. They collected the items present on the three cross roads indiscriminately and ultimately failed to collect the real thing i.e. sapphire because by that time their pockets were full. Lastly, he sent intellectuals and knowledgeable people. They left behind the white marbles and stones by closely observing it. They collected few unpolished diamonds and took the sapphire in large quantity.
Mazoon Saheb explained the moral of this parable and said that just like animals, ordinary people and intellectuals, there are three types of people between us. People who are like animals, who does not know the purpose of life and their existence; they come and lead a useless life and die without any preparation of the life Hereafter. The ordinary people who does not know what is good and bad for them. Lastly the intellectual people who have the guidance and vision and live a fruitful life with it.
Mumineen who attend the majlis of Behram and ‘Urs are among the intellectuals who answers the divine call of the life Hereafter.
Concluding the speech, Mazoon Saheb took the waseelah of Muqaddas Maula (QR) and prayed for the guidance, well being and progress of mumineen. Ameen.
