Taiyebi Mahal – Devdi Mubaarak located at Mahallah Badriyah (Badri Mohalla, Mehmood Wadi, Vadodara) is an epitome of Ruhaaniyat and Nooraaniyat of Da’wah ‘Alaviyah Shareefah since the 32nd Da’i ul-Mutlaq Saiyedna Jivabhai Ziyauddin saheb (aq) migrated from Ahmedabad to Vadodara in 1110 AH.  During these 325 yrs spanning through 3 centuries, this ‘Alavi Markaz of 12 Du’aat-e-Mutlaqeen (aq) has consistently and persistently served mumineen as the only centre of the culmination of all their Ruhaani Umoor right from the wilaadat-birth till wafaat-death.

The foundation of Devdi Mubaarak was laid by 32nd Da’i ul-Mutlaq Saiyedna Jivabhai Ziyauddin saheb (aq) along with the ta’sees of Masjid-e-Ziyaai and Badri Mohalla.  Muqaddas Maulaa chose the centre of the Mohalla for the Maqaam-e-Da’i so that all mumineen could take barakaat and manfe’at-benefit of Didaar.  From dusk to dawn, every time malaa’ekat-angels descend at this place where Da’iyullaah do Du’aa for a mumin whenever he comes for any Deeni-Duniyaawi affairs.  Minimum 10 generations of mumineen have passed whose farzand-dukhtar have given Bay’at or Nikaah got solemnized by the Razaa of Da’i uz-Zamaan.

Time and again, at the same place as per the necessity and requirement, Da’i uz-Zamaan did restoration work and maintained Devdi Mubaarak meticulously.   But the ghurfah mubaarakah – room where Da’i uz-Zamaan stays, does the majlis and studies ‘Uloom-e-Ahl-e-Bayt (as) has remained unchanged.   Since last two years due to the construction activities going on around Devdi Mubaarak, some weakness appeared on the walls and its restoration and renovation became inevitable.  After the ‘Urs Mubaarak of Nuruddin Maulaa in Surat, the work began and within three months it got finished with complete refurbishment of Ghurfah Mubaarakah of Saiyedna saheb (tus).  With the spiritual outlook the blissful touch was maintained by all possible efforts as the place is termed “Ghurfat ul-Jannat”,  The Castle of Paradise.

In this very room and in the waiting hall, in 1322 AH, 41st Da’i ul-Mutlaq Saiyedna Fakhruddin saheb (aq) with his Khatt Mubaarak did kitaabat of the Qur’anic Verses and Ahaadees-e-Nabawiyah explaining the characteristics of a Mumin and his relation with his Da’i.  It is carved on top of the walls in Golden Waraq.  It happened to be the most taiyeb-o-taahir sacred and paak place of Devdi Mubaarak, no one was allowed to enter or have an access to this room except for necessary cleanliness purpose and that too by the permission of Da’i uz-Zamaan and under the strict supervision of Umm ul-mumineen.  At the completion of restoration, with the Razaa Mubaarak of Huzoor-e-‘Aali (tus), Mazoon Maulaa held a majlis in this Ghurfah Muneerah with the Hudood and Ma’mooreen of Da’wah Shareefah where Mazoon Maulaa explained the paakizagi and takreem of Devdi Mubaarak which every ‘Alavi Mumin should respect and obey its aadaab in any circumstances.

Some of the Prophetic Traditions - Ahaadees-e-Nabawiyah written in Devdi Mubaarak:

The Head of the Wisdom is the Fear of Allaah

Ra’s ul-Hikmate Makhaafatullaah

Before any Talk, Mumin should say Salaam

as-Salaamo qablal Kalaame

Majesty is only for Allaah

al-‘Azmato Lillaahe

Respect is only for Allaah

al-‘Izzato Lillaahe

Truth is always Bitter

al-Haqqo Murran

The Best among People is the one who serves People without any Personal Gain

Khayrun Naase man Yanfa’on Naasa

When Imaam says something, mumineen should stop Talking

Izaa Khatabal Imaamo Harramal Kalaama
